Abstract:In order to elaborate the design flow of simply-supported composite girder bridge, taking a 40-m span simply-supported composite girder bridge as an example, the construction and use process of the bridge are simulated by Midas finite element analysis software. The influence of modeling accuracy and construction scheme on the stress of the bridge, and the benefit of material optimization for the lightweight design of structure are mainly compared and analyzed. The result shows that the stiffening ribs of steel girder floor have the great influence on the stress of the floor. It is proposed to simulate the stiffening ribs during the modeling. The setting of the temporary supports can effectively improve the stress of steel girder, but greatly increase the compressive stress of concrete bridge deck at the same time. The suitable combination of construction scheme and material optimization can make the bridge design light and reduce the amount of engineering materials effectively.
