Abstract:With the development of urbanization in China, the problems of water quality and quantity of single urban water supply source are becoming more and more serious. The scientific and reasonable allocation of water resources and breaking the regional water supply restrictions can effectively solve the above problems. At present, a certain scale of long-distance water conveyance projects have been built or are been building in many cities to distribute the limited water resources more reasonably and to ensure the safety of water for living and production. The optimization of the design of long-distance water conveyance pipeline is of great significance to the safety, reliability and economy of water supply engineering. Therefore, taking a long-distance water conveyance pipeline project of a factory in Zhejiang as an example, the pipe diameter, pipe material and safety protection of the long-distance water conveyance pipeline are studied.
