Abstract:The properties of domestic waste incinerator slag and recycled aggregate are studied mainly including the physical property, chemical property and aggregate property. On this basis, the pavement properties of domestic waste incinerator slag instead of fly ash used for lime-fly ash macadam base are studied including the compaction character, compressive strength, and wet swelling and dry shrinkage characteristics. The study shows that the domestic waste incinerator slag instead of fly ash used for lime fly-ash macadam can meet the road requirements. Its dry shrinkage and wet swelling properties are superior to the cement-fly ash macadam, and but its compressive strength is reduced. In order to guarantee the pavement performance, it is required to control the slag admixture amount properly.
