Study on Application of BIM Technology in Bridge Design

Abstract:

BIM technology is widely applied in the engineering field, and is the important orientation of the future development. BIM technology is briefly analyzed. The basic principle of BIM model data structure is put forward. Taking the infrastructures of Shangri-La and the surrounding road network comprehensive regulating projects as the examples, the processes of Revit component modeling and project modeling are explained. The key information is extracted from the component and project models. Through the secondary development means to output the construction drawings, the method and principle of Revit to output construction drawings are summarized, which provides the new thinking for the application of BIM technology in bridge design.
