Abstract:The overall design scheme of an urban pedestrian steel box inclined-span arch bridge is introduced. The spatial finite element model is established to analyze the design control essentials including the cable force, stress, displacement, dynamic characteristics and stability. The result shows that various static and dynamic indexes all meet the standard requirements. Finally, two feature designs of deck pavement and anti-floating pin hinge are introduced, which can enhance the structure safety, durability and landscape in order to provide the reference for the design of the similar pedestrian bridges.
