Abstract:Based on the engineering background of a full-steel V-shaped pier rigid-frame bridge across the canal in Fengxian District of Shanghai, a spatial shell model is established by using the general finite element software ANSYS to analyze the spatial force characteristics of the V-shaped pier rigid-frame bridge. The comparison with the calculation result of the conventional bar frame model is carried out and the force characteristics of the pier-beam consolidation zone are discussed. For setting parameters of the different crossbeams between double-width box beams, the spatial force characteristics of vertical deformation coordination of double-width structure are analyzed, and the structural design suggestions of V-shaped pier rigid-frame bridges are put forward. The connection methods of V-shaped pier and foundation are compared. The comprehensive comparison is carried out to reasonably select the structural systems from the aspects of economy and overall stiffness.
