The main bridge for Paihe River Bridge in Jixian Road of Hefei City is a steel truss arch - box beam composite structural bridge with 132-m main span. The separated steel box beam and steel truss arch are used to connect the bridge 24 m from the side pier to beam end. The scheme comparison and determination of the main truss type, number and rise span ratio as well as structural design details of suspender and deck slab in the overall design of this main bridge are expounded. The construction and completion of this bridge provide an engineering reference case for the design of the similar bridges.
