Abstract:Under the background of the gradual formation of the national high-speed railway network, the square in front of the high-speed railway station in tourist cities has gradually shown the problems such as insufficient supporting facilities and chaotic traffic organization after the operation of high-speed railway. Taking Huangshan North Railway Station as an example, the passenger flow characteristics of Huangshan North Railway Station, and the present situation, traffic organization and operation of station square are analyzed, the passenger flow of Huangshan North Railway Station is predicted, and the scale of traffic facilities is measured and calculated. Based on the predicting result, the strategy of traffic improvement is proposed, and the short-term and long-term specific traffic improvement schemes are put forward from the aspects of facility layout, traffic organization and etc.
