Abstract:The pier layout of an urban viaduct as one of the important links in the modern traffic system should not only consider the bridge itself, but also take into account the road clearance under bridge and the overall landscape requirements. When the central line of viaduct is not matched with the central line of road separation belt under the bridge, or the pier layout is limited by river, subway and pipeline, the use of transverse eccentric pier is an effective method. The double-layer pier of Fenghuang Mountain Viaduct is ZX49# pier. Its upper layer is a transverse eccentric pier with eccentricity of 1.55m. By introducing the structure, analysis and calculation of ZX49 upper-layer eccentric pier of Fenghuang Mountain Viaduct, the equivalent section calculation method of special-shaped pier stud is discussed, which can provide reference for the design of similar structures at home and abroad.
