Abstract:Due to various reasons, there are still different degrees of rainwater and sewage mixing phenomenon in the separate-system drainage area of Shanghai, which results in a large number of untreated sewage directly discharged to the surrounding rivers through the rainwater pipe network so that the river environment is polluted. The fundamental measures of urban waterlogging and black and odorous water body treatment are to control the source and intercept the sewage. The primary work of controlling source and intercepting sewage is to comprehensively promote the reconstruction of rainwater and sewage separation. Taking the rainwater and sewage separation reconstruction project in a residence community of Shanghai as an example, combined with the existing rainwater and sewage mixing phenomenon and the problems encountered in the design and construction process, the technical measures in the separation reconstruction of rainwater and sewage are discussed.
