Abstract:Baisha Yangtze River Bridge is a 920-m long double-pylon one-column composite beam cable-stayed bridge. Its pylon, pier and beam are consolidated. In order to study the reasonable restraint system of the lateral direction of its auxiliary pier and transition pier, the time history analysis is performed respectively under four restraint systems of the transverse free, lateral restraint, transition pier restraint and auxiliary pier restraint. The seismic response characteristics of the cable-stayed bridge under the different lateral restraint systems are studied. Aiming at the concrete rigid stop dog and viscous damper damping system, the influences of the different parameters on the seismic performance are analyzed. The results show that the rigid concrete stop dog has little effect on reducing the lateral seismic response of each pier at the same time. The transverse seismic response of each pier and the relative displacement of pier beam can be reduced effectively by using viscous damper system.
