Abstract:Taking a simple-supported truss bridge with the main span 100m located on the transition curve as an example, the main design essentials of truss bridge on the curve are analyzed. The structural processing method of the curved bridge in the straight construction is expounded in detail. The longitudinal deformation characteristics of simple-supported truss bridges are analyzed. Two specific design schemes of releasing the axial constraints of vertical and horizontal beams are proposed. The main static and dynamic responses of such bridges are analyzed by the finite element method, which can be referred for the design of the similar bridge projects.
