Abstract:CATIA is widely used in municipal industry because of its excellent surface modeling ability. However, CATIA itself does not have the geological modeling ability, and its related applications are relatively few. Aiming at the problems of difficult geological data transmission and complex formation process, the geological BIM modeling method based on CATIA is studied. The Kriging model of DACE toolbox is used to fit the geological interface data. The excellent surface modeling ability of CATIA software is used to establish the terrain entity and geological interface. Finally, a highly applicable geological BIM model creation method is provided. Combined with the collaborative design functions of 3DE platform and CATIA, the effective transmission of geological data is ensured, the work cooperation between the survey specialty and other specialties is enhanced, and the practical application requirements related to rock and soil are well solved.
