Abstract:Lanzhou is a typical multicenter group city. Its road network has been developed in mixed way. The characteristics of urban road congestion are significant. Selecting Baidaoping District of Lanzhou as the study example, the traffic congestion of the multicenter group city is analyzed and discussed. Combined with the problems existing in the traffic connection of Baidaoping District with the central urban area, the traffic accessibility model is established. The vector road network and POI (points of interest) data crawling program are compiled by PyCharm tool, and then ArcGIS software is used to complete the data calculation and visualization. Based on the analysis result of traffic accessibility, the traffic development strategy and optimization scheme of Baidaoping District are proposed.
