Aiming at the continuous down-warping situation of the middle span of an urban 129 m-span pre-stressed concrete continuous girder bridge since 7-year operation, from the perspective of adding the external prestressing inside the box and the external structure, the effectiveness of the different reinforcement schemes on the deflection control and the influences on the original structure are analyzed without the interrupting traffic in order to provide an effective reinforcement scheme for reinforcing the down-warped continuous girder and preventing it from continuously down warping.
