Abstract:According to the new characteristics of seismic response of simple-supported beam bridge with plate rubber bearing in Wenchuan Earthquake, combined with the latest provisions of bridge seismic code, the response of simple-supported beam bridge with plate rubber bearing under earthquake sequence is analyzed and studied. The result shows that after considering strong earthquake sequence, the residual displacement of plate rubber bearing under the action of previous earthquakes will be accumulated, which will reduce the subsequent seismic and operational capacity of the bridge.
