Abstract:In order to provide the valuable land resources for the construction of urban balcony, Jiangdong Road located in the urban balcony landscape zone will be constructed in the form of underpassing road. Therefore, the traffic organization design and road network reliability of Jiangdong Road Tunnel are studied. Through the investigation of the traffic flow at five current intersections, the current traffic is evaluated. On this basis, the traffic organization design of Jiangdong Road Tunnel Project is carried out, and the stability conclusion of the road network structure in Aotan District before and after the tunnel construction is obtained through the study on road network reliability. The results show that the reliability of the north-south road network system in Aotan District has been greatly increased from 73.8% to 92.6% after the construction of Jiangdong Road Tunnel, which has effectively improved the traffic capacity of the whole Aotan District.
