Abstract:Taking the reconstruction of a long-span capping beam as the research object, based on the theoretical calculation and finite element simulation, the strengthening scheme of the reconstructed long-span capping beam is compared and optimized to meet the requirements of the current design code. The engineering practice shows that under the premise of ensuring traffic, the stress system of the reconstructed structure can safely and conveniently cut off and reconstruct the long-span capping beam by adding the temporary supports to reduce the span of the capping beam, which can be referred for the similar projects.
