Abstract:The Midas/Civil finite element software is used to carry out the spatial static analysis, dynamic analysis and stability analysis of 136-m through spatial arch beam composite system of Conghua Bridge in Guangzhou. The calculation result shows that the simple-supported statically determinate structural system as the external can improve the differential settlement of support for the single-span spatial arch beam composite system. The arch beam composite structural system is reasonable and each component stress meets the specifications. The spatial special-shaped arch structure composed of main arch, subarch, cross bracing and diagonal bracing has the good stability. For the simple-supported beam and triangular arch composite system, the arch rib with the greater stiffness as a stressed component is required to bear the bridge load because the beam stiffness is smaller. The tension of boom has the greater influence on the stress of the main beam and arch rib. Under the premise of meeting the stress requirements of the main beam, the tension of boom should be minimized so as to make for the stress and stability of arch rib structure.
