Abstract:The main bridge of Conghua Bridge in Guangzhou is a single-span 136 m through arch-girder composite bridge, which is composed of one main arch rib and two auxiliary arch ribs on the side to form an inverted triangular concrete filled steel tubular spatial composite arch. The key technologies of the main bridge construction are designed and studied from the aspects of beam-arch construction sequence, fabrication and installation of steel tube arch rib, concrete pouring in tube, prestressed steel beam tension of tie beam, and installation and tension of hanger rod so as to ensure the construction safety of bridge structure and the quality of finished bridge.
