Abstract:The construction of rainwater pumping stations and storage tanks at the end of the drainage system is an effective way to improve the urban drainage and waterlogging prevention capabilities while controlling the initial rainwater pollution. With the increasing shortage of urban construction land, more and more rainwater pumping stations and storage tanks begin to be built together. Taking a combined construction design of rainwater pumping station and storage tank in Shanghai as an example, the selection of combined construction form of pumping station and storage tank is analyzed, and the engineering design scheme and the operation mode after completion are introduced in detail. The design flow rate of the pumping station is 22.2 m3/s, and the design scale of the storage tank is 11 000 m3. Combined with the land conditions and surrounding environment, the "tiling-type" scheme is selected for the pump station and the storage tank. In view of the limited construction land, complex surrounding environment and high landscape requirements, all structures are arranged intensively with foundation pit. The "two walls in one" underground diaphragm wall is used. A garden-type and sponge-type pumping station is built. Combined with the new technologies of hydraulic model and BIM, the design scheme is optimized. The case can provide a certain reference for the other combined construction projects of rainwater pumping station and storage tank.
