Abstract:Mass concrete is often involved in the modern civil engineering. And there are the quality problems easily in its construction and curing process. Therefore, the detection work is carried out always throughout all links of the project implementation process. The conventional non-destructive testing methods for concrete are generally unable to visually judge the large internal sections of concrete, but the elastic wave CT can reconstruct the cross-sectional wave velocity distribution at one time. After inversion, it is directly inferred whether there are defects in the profile and the location and scale of the defects. The advantages of this method, such as high resolution, good reliability and intuitive images are effectively verified by the application of elastic wave CT in mass concrete detection, and combined with the verification methods such as ultrasound, which can provide a useful reference for the other related types of projects.
