Abstract:At present, many coastal cities are giving full support to the construction of new coastal areas in order to expand the construction frame of city, improve the development quality of city and accelerate the upgrading speed of city. The construction of coastal region is different from the general inland city. The geological conditions of the construction will be further complicated because of near the sea, which will bring more challenges to the constructions of urban roads and municipal infrastructures. Aiming at a specific urban road in a coastal region, starting from its foundation treatment and according to the result of practical engineering geological survey, the specific treatment methods of soft foundation in coastal region are discussed. By calculating and verifying the feasibility of treatment methods, the valuable reference is provided for the foundation treatment of urban roads in coastal regions.
