Abstract:The main bridge of Moshui River Bridge is a 2×90 m single-pylon central double-plane cable-stayed bridge. The pylon-beam-pier consolidation system is used for this bridge. The separated box section steel girder is used for the main girder. STC layer pavement system is adopted for the bridge deck. The bridge pylon is a rectangular section "herringbone"-shape steel structural pylon. The pylon height above the bridge deck is 48.6 m. The main pier is a concrete circular pier, the base slab is a rectangular section, and 12 2.0-m cast-in-place piles are set up below. There are 36 stayed cables for the whole bridge. According to the central double-plane fan-shaped layout, the cable distance on the beam is 9 m, the cable distance on the pylon is 2.2~2.628 m, and the stayed cables are the 7-mm epoxy sprayed steel cables. MIDAS Civil finite element program is used to check the structural static force. The results show that the structural strength, rigidity and stability of this bridge all meet the requirements of the code.
