Abstract:

Some design problems in the selection of substructure and the layout of bridge position in the design of the small and medium-span bridges on the mountain highways are discussed. Through the selection of bridge types, the comparison of superstructure and substructure, and the analysis of economy, some suggestions can be provided for the majority of designers by some practical cases.
