Abstract:Yibin Nanxi (Xianyuan) Yangtze River Bridge is an important project in the new pathways crossing Yangtze River of the national planning. Its main bridge is a five-span 280 m+572 m+(72.5+63+53.5)m double-pylon double-plane asymmetric composite girder cable-stayed bridge. The construction conditions of bridge site are complex because of the hydrological floor discharge condition, channel condition, protection of fish resources, restriction of installation construction condition and strict requirement of bridge construction period at the construction site of bridge. The design of the bridge revolves around the feasibility of the project, and the safety of the bridge is ensured. The design and technical characteristics of the main structures of overall design, main girder, cable pylon and stayed cable system of the bridge are introduced to provide the reference for the similar projects.
