Abstract:The seismic response analysis of underground structure is required to consider the dynamic interaction between the structure and foundation, in which the free field response analysis of the layered soil is the key to determine the seismic input. The previous underground engineering examples show that whether or not to effectively simulate the infinite foundation boundary has the great influence on the seismic analysis of structure. Based on the seismic evaluation of an underground complex project, the viscoelastic artificial boundary is used to simulate the seismic response of free filed, which overcomes the disadvantage that the traditional analysis can not simulate the infinite field of the site in the project, and provides the reliable numerical basis for the dynamic time history analysis of underground structures.
