Affected by the construction environment and economic conditions, the monitoring of stayed cable safety of small-span and medium-span cable stayed bridges is generally completed only through a few sensing facilities arranged on some stayed cables. How to arrange a few sensing facilities at the proper position of the bridge stayed cables and obtain the closest data to the actual situation has become one of the key problems to be handled in the design of bridge safety monitoring, and the proper position can be determined only by the relevance of the stayed cable.
