Taking the Shanghai Zhangjing River Pump and Sluice Project as an example, the fine temperature control and crack prevention technology of mass concrete of pump and sluice project in the construction stage is discussed from the aspects of material properties, water cooling and thermal insulation measures, and temperature monitoring. The material thermodynamic parameters and surface convection coefficient required for simulation analysis are obtained from the laboratory test and on-site mass concrete test, and then are used for feedback analysis of on-site concrete temperature field. Finally, the effects of water flow and cooling water pipe specification on the concrete temperature field are compared and analyzed. The results show that the material and diameter of pipe have a great impact on the maximum temperature and temperature drop rate of concrete. It is suggested that more than 40mm diameter steel pipe and more than 4m3/h cooling water flow are used in the early stage.
