Abstract:The instability mechanism analysis and treatment design of bedding steep rock slope with weak interlayer are the difficult problems in highway engineering. Aiming at the rock cutting slope landslide of an expressway, the finite element method is used to inverse the process of slope landslide, and the treatment measures and stability of the landslide are analyzed based on the strength reduction theory. The results show that the development of unloading tension cracks caused by steep slope rate produced by the slop excavation so as to lead to the collapse of leading edge rock mass is the induced stage of landslide, and the sliding of trailing rock mass along the bedding weak interlayer is the development stage of landslide. The measures of unloading, toe anchoring and leading edge back pressure in the treatment design of landslide are effective, which can provide reference for the treatment of similar bedding steep slope landslide with weak interlayer.
