Abstract:For the bridge with a certain service life of the common disease problems, including span deflection, bridge deck cracking, excessive stress at key locations, the use of good performance of LC40 lightweight high-strength concrete can effectively solve the bridge disease. This paper is based on the Xining Huangshui River Bridge considering different paving structures for the study. The results of the study show that light aggregate concrete reduces the self-weight by 20% compared to C40 concrete, which can effectively reduce the self-weight of the structure; the mid-span displacement is reduced by 12.5%; and the tensile stress at the longitudinal bridge interface is reduced by 12.2%. This is a reference for the application of light aggregate concrete in bridge repair and strengthening projects.
