In order to ensure the smooth channel of the inland river to the Yangtze River, it is necessary to treat the embankment collapse near the mouth of the river.SThis paper puts forward a plan of protecting river dike with riprap and active hook.SCombined with the complex geographical conditions of the dumping area, the paper focuses on the analysis of the application of the dumping technology process in the Yangtze River (Jiangsu section) bank collapse control project.SAccording to the field test data, the calculation formula of horizontal drift distance between block rock and hook is put forward, and the drift distance of the project section is 5.2~7.5m. Furthermore, a crane with 12m boom can be used to carry out the throw in 5m wide and 10m long units. The result of the underwater terrain test is good, which provides reference for similar projects.
