Abstract:At present, single point optimization and linear road adjustment are generally adopted to solve non-systematic urban congestion, but they are not systematic. This paper proposes qualitative and quantitative, macro and micro methods to solve traffic congestion, qualitative and macro analysis is expected to "point to surface" effect, seek for more economic congestion scheme, and finally achieve the linkage of the regional road network, the rationalization of traffic organization. On the basis of qualitative and macroscopic solutions, the optimization of single point or one road is carried out. In this paper, the congestion node of Liuwu Bridge in Lhasa is taken as an example, and quantitative analysis is carried out by Synchro simulation software to identify the congestion improvement degree of key nodes and evaluate the effect and benefit of congestion relief.
