Abstract:Rigid frame arch bridge was mainly built in the 1980s and 1990s. It has the characteristics of reasonable stress, convenient construction, material saving, simplicity and beauty. After entering this century, this kind of bridge began to appear more serious diseases under heavy traffic, and it needs regular maintenance and reinforcement to maintain its service performance. Even after repeated reinforcement, the development of structural diseases still can not be controlled, so it needs to maintain operation through height and load limiting measures or have to be demolished and rebuilt. Taking an 80m span rigid frame arch as an engineering example, this paper studies the mechanism of crack disease through the disease analysis and structural modeling calculation of the detection results.
