Abstract:foundation pit of the main pier of Xijiagang Bridge is located on both sides of the seawall embankment along the first line of Xijiagang Bridge. The minimum distance from the flood control wall of the seawall embankment is 10.7m, and the maximum excavation depth is 6.74m. The height difference between the top surface of the seawall embankment and the foundation pit is 3.3m. The seawall embankment is a passageway with many heavy-duty vehicles. In order to ensure that the deformation of the foundation pit and the seawall embankment can meet the requirements of the code, ensure the construction safety and meet the requirements of the construction period, the supporting structure design of the main pier foundation pit of Xijiaxiang Bridge should comprehensively consider the factors such as the external constant load, the dynamic load on the top of the embankment, the bad geological conditions and the construction schedule.
