Abstract:Pipe jacking method is now more and more widely used in the construction of underground complex pipe gallery. For the actual engineering case of three underground comprehensive pipe galleries crossing the highway in a certain project, the construction process of parallel pipe jacking is simulated by three-dimensional numerical method, and the variation law of deformation of upper highway and buried sewage pipeline under different jacking sequence of pipe galleries is systematically analyzed. The settlement of underground complex pipe galleries and sewage pipeline is discussed after the completion of subsequent highway extension project, and the reduction degree of deformation of the underground structures during the pipe galleries jacking construction and highway extension project by different soil reinforcement scope and depth is comprehensively studied. The results show that different pipe-jacking sequence will affect the deformation of the highway, and the optimal sequence should be first to carry out the pipe-jacking construction on both sides. Soil reinforcement can reduce the settlement of underground structures during pipe-jacking construction, but the stability of underground structures cannot be guaranteed during the highway extension project when the depth of reinforcement is shallow.
