Abstract:Based on LuXiang road-Qilianshan road connecting project in Shanghai, influence mechanism of large parallel Quasi-Rectangular Pipe Jacking tunnelling with long distance is systematically studied. Three key parameters, i.e. Section size, Limited Overburden and Limited parallel distance of pipe jacking, are specifically discussed and practical formulas are derived. Concrete analysis of measured results of surface displacement and excess pore pressure caused by parallel pipe jacking tunnelling is made. Jacking force and Friction force results are deeply analyzed. Valuable patterns are discovered, conclusions and suggestions with high referential value can be applied in future engineering projects in soft soil areas.
