Abstract:In order to improve the road performance of the SMA mixture, the influence of different fiber ratios on the road performance of the SMA mixture was studied through indoor experiments, and its road performance was verified by the test section. The results show that as the ratio of basalt fiber to lignin fiber changes from 3:0 to 0:3, the dynamic stability and fatigue resistance of the SMA mixture decrease, the low-temperature crack resistance performance increases, and the water stability changes parabolicly. Compared with fiber SMA mixture, the performance of composite fiber SMA asphalt mixture is more balanced and comprehensive. Based on the principle of the best comprehensive performance and material economy, the recommended ratio of basalt fiber and lignin fiber in the SMA mixture is 1.5:1.5. The test section proves that the road effect is better than the normal road section.
