Whether the alignment selection of urban interchanges is reasonable not only directly affects its function and investment, but also relates to the long-term social and economic comprehensive benefits. It is the result of a multi-index comprehensive decision-making. The Sanjin Overpass is a hub-type interchange that is intersected by the expressway and the main road in Nanning. Based on the functional positioning analysis and traffic volume prediction, this paper expounds the design ideas of the interchange in combination with the actual topography and restriction factors. A comprehensive analysis and comparison of three overpass schemes was carried out, and the overpass scheme was determined. Through the example of this project, it can provide reference for designers of urban interchanges.
