Abstract:GAC-20C asphalt concrete has excellent anti-rutting, anti-permeability and anti-fatigue properties due to its excellent skeleton effect. It is widely used in the paving of the intermediate layer of highway in South China where is high temperature and rainy. However, its skeleton dense structure determines that its performance and service life are greatly affected by the construction technology. In order to improve the construction quality of GAC-20C asphalt concrete in South China, based on Yangmao highway project in Guangdong Province, the raw material control, mixture ratio design and key construction links of the intermediate layer are studied in order to provide some reference for similar projects.
