Abstract:The outer ring road of Meixian new town is an important part of the urban road skeleton combining the double cross and circular radial shape of Meizhou city. Its construction will improve the road network structure system within the scope of the project, which is of great significance to accelerate the development of Meixian new town and its surrounding areas and the long-term development of tourism in Meizhou city. Starting from the planning and project positioning, this paper discusses the overall design scheme of the outer ring road in detail. At the same time, aiming at the problems existing in the parallel section of the outer ring road and national highway 205, this paper puts forward three design schemes, compares the advantages and disadvantages of the three design schemes in detail, and comprehensively considers the horizontal and vertical indicators of the line, traffic functions, impact on surrounding buildings and residents, enforceability, landscape The best scheme is recommended due to the influence of factors such as project cost. The results of this project can provide reference for the formation of similar results of this project.
