Abstract:Shanghai is located in the Yangtze River Delta, in the impact plain, and the soil is mostly muddy. The construction of municipal roads in Shanghai is closely related to the surrounding environment. In order to comprehensively improve the quality of municipal roads, corresponding road construction methods should be adopted according to the geographical and geological environment. In road construction, the sludge solidification project is an important foundation solidification project. Generally, the construction of the project is mainly due to the special construction method adopted because there is more sludge in the surrounding environment, that is, the surrounding environment is close to the sea, lakes, rivers and other areas. For example, the new construction project of g228 highway (east of Haiwan road ~ Nanlu highway) located in Fengxian District, the road reconstruction project of Jinhai highway (Daye highway ~ Punan canal) and the road reconstruction project of Qianqian highway (Hangnan highway ~ nanxinggang Road) all adopt the technology of sludge solidification in soft soil foundation. This paper mainly introduces the technical characteristics and relevant technical points of soft soil foundation in sludge solidification of municipal roads, and puts forward optimization measures to improve its treatment technology level.
