Abstract:With the increasing problem of urban traffic congestion in our cities, more and more cities have incorporated rail transit construction into their overall plans. However, subway construction has the characteristics of large excavation area, long construction period, and wide impact range. During the construction period, the congestion in the city will be aggravated. Therefore, how to divert traffic during subway construction to ensure the orderly progress of road traffic has become an urgent problem to be solved. Based on the research on the design of traffic diversion schemes in the central urban area during the construction of Nantong City Rail Transit, this paper explores and summarizes the methods, steps and processes of traffic diversion scheme design, focusing on determining the scope of influence, analyzing diversion objects, and formulating diversion schemes. The detailed introduction aims to provide some experience and reference for the preliminary research, design, and demonstration of similar engineering projects in the future.
