Abstract:The transformation to integrate two-wheeled bicycles, electric bicycles and motorbikes dedicated lane is a bold exploration and attempt to solve their traffic problems caused by motorbikes and non-motorised vehicles competing for the right of way in urban centretheir, and the bus stops, which is more complicated for traffic, inevitably need to be transformed simultaneously as setting the dedicated lane. In order to orderly direct the traffic flow at the stations and to guarantee passenger safety, the reasons and methods for the transformation of the integrated scheme for two-wheeled bicycles, electric bicycles and motorbikes dedicated lane on road section are firstly presented. Afterwards, several design schemes are proposed for the dedicated lanes at the linear bus stops and harbor-shaped bus stops with the concept of urban traffic calming, and their advantages, disadvantages and site conditions are analysed. After comparison, a curved two-wheelers dedicated lane design is recommended at the bus stop, which is finally accompanied by some traffic calming measures.
