Abstract:With the proposal of national development concept of "green, low-carbon, energy conservation and emission reduction", the new energy industry is getting new development opportunities. As an economical and clean large-scale energy storage method, pumped storage power station has the advantages of flexible start and stop, rapid response, peak and valley regulation, frequency and phase modulation, emergency standby and so on and supported by the country strongly. As a channel connecting the dam and the outside world, the dam access road is an indispensable and key part of the power station on the construction and operation periods. The selection of the dam access road scheme in mountainous areas should be comprehensively considered from many aspects, such as geological conditions, alignment indicators, project cost, construction period, environmental protection, construction and maintenance difficulty, and through scheme comparison and analysis, the safer, more economical and more reasonable route scheme is conducive to the rapid development of pumped storage power stations and the realization of the "double carbon" goal of the country.
