Abstract:Focusing on a steel plate composite girder bridge, the finite element program ANSYS is used to model and calculate the connection between the concrete bridge panel and the steel girder, and the resistance of the multi-stud connectors is obtained through experimental study. The theoretical calculation results show that the shear force near the fulcrum reaches the maximum under the combination of ultimate states of bearing capacity, and the shear capacity of welding nails meets the design requirements. The shear test results show that the average bearing capacity of single nail is reduced by 10%~20% in most of the specimens compared with that of single nail pushed out, but the average bearing capacity of single nail is still much higher than that of the current design code even for the specimens with the largest number of welded nails.
