Abstract:Collision detection is mainly used to detect and optimize "errors, omissions, collisions, and missing" problems in the project design stage. In this paper, the collision detection function of BIM technology is combined with the three detection theories of static detection, pseudo-dynamic detection and dynamic detection under the time domain classification, and the collision detection method based on BIM technology is optimized to reduce the detection operation time and complexity. The efficiency and real-time performance of this optimization method are verified by the practical application in bridge engineering.
