Abstract:In the municipal supporting project of Block B of Xishuangbanna International Tourism Resort, the geological survey shows that the engineering geology of the construction site is dominated by high liquid limit soil. The foundation bearing capacity of the original soil is very high, but once the excavation is exposed to water, the foundation bearing capacity rapidly decreases, which is very unfavorable to the stability of the roadbed. In this paper, the subgrade soil can be improved by mixing cement, which can basically achieve the water-proof effect of the underlying soil with high liquid limit and meet the requirements of subgrade filling. Meanwhile the construction technology and matters needing attention of high liquid limit soil subgrade are put forward, which provides reference value for other similar high liquid limit soil subgrade design and construction.
