Abstract:In the process of bridge design and construction in karst development areas, the problem of insufficient thickness of bearing stratum at the end of end bearing pile is often encountered. At present, the relevant specifications of the Ministry of communications and various local standards have corresponding requirements for the thickness of the bearing layer at the pile end, but there is no unified standard, and there is no effective method for calculating the thickness of the bearing layer. Through practical engineering cases, this paper analyzes the relationship between the thickness of pile end bearing stratum and the span of karst cave and the depth of pile foundation into rock, so as to provide some ideas and reference for the determination of pile bottom bearing stratum thickness in similar projects in the future
