Abstract:The Changhe section of Zuo’an Avenue in Wuhan is an important part of Zuo’an Avenue in the main axis of the Yangtze River. It is a waterfront expressway with traffic functions as the main function and comprehensive functions of viewing and recreation. The total length of the route is 6.54km and the length of the bridge is 5.44km. According to the urban planning, consider the basis of controlling factors such as the Lannihu Embankment, the Tongshun River, the Fourth Ring Road (Zuankou Yangtze River Bridge), the Xiaojun Mountain, Helenbergh Town, Junshan Embankment, basic farmland, the Yangtze River, Metro Line 16, Zhuankou Railway Special Line, etc., the overall design scheme of the Changhe section of Zuo'an Avenue is studied. It provides a reference for the planning and design of the city's waterfront expressway.
